The Mechanical Engineering Students' Society (MESS) collaborates with students, professors, and industry professionals to enhance the quality of students' education and overall experience at the University of Calgary.
MESS proudly represents 800 undergraduate students in the Mechanical Engineering department. We strive to be the link between industry and the student body in order to enhance communication and interrelations within the engineering community.
MESS believes that sponsorship encompasses more than corporate advertising; it closes the gap between the classroom and boardroom, providing a more professional learning experience and a more enjoyable student life.
Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) encompasses a core value at MESS. We believe that every voice should be heard, and everyone have the ability to participate and contribute in our engineering community. We strive to create a community where diverse ideas, opinions, and perspectives can be shared openly. We are proud to value all members of our community without regard for race, color, religion, gender, sex, sexual orientation or socio-economic status.
